On October 9, Kerry Washington was spotted in the streets of New York City, wearing a cute tweed dress that she accessorized with an embellished black headband.

Kerry Washington has been traveling around the country to promote her memoir, Thicker Than Water, since September. For an appearance on The View, the Scandal actor stepped out wearing the cutest headband with gilded and pearlescent embellishments, the cost of which I'd prefer not to know, thank you very much. Washington was spotted in the streets of New York City wearing a Giambattista Valli tweed mini dress with a matching tweed purse and black knee-high boots.

You can barely see the winged tip at her outer corner. A rose gold shimmer gleamed from her lids. The bright matte pink hue on her lips matched her flushed cheeks. We also couldn't help but notice her dark almond-shaped manicure. From some angles, her nails appeared to be a deep brown hue, but from others, it looked more like a blood-red shade. There are still a few dates left on Washington's book tour, so soon enough she'll be blessing us with a new hairstyle.
