. They're a perennial favorite for many reasons — easy to dress up and dress down, and a reliable seasonal staple. But one thing they definitely aren't is comfortable. If it's not the waistband digging into my hips, it's the shorts collecting on my thighs, creating a chafe-like rub that reddens my legs. So while I still wear and cherish my denim shorts, I know they don't have a long life. They're definitely not something I can wear all day.. Denim? Check.
I recently wore it to work with my combat boots and plan to dress it up in the future with a leather fanny pack to give the illusion of a silhouette.
