Nosferatu Count Orlok in different versions of the movie
Bill Skarsgård has one more project coming up in 2024 thanks to Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu, and his latest comments about his character only make me more excited about it. 2024 has been a big year for Bill Skarsgård with projects from different genres that have further shown his acting range.
Skarsgård said he has “ never been more terrified of a role ” and probably won’t be again, describing the whole experience as Orlok as “intense”. Bill Skarsgård Has A History Of Playing Dark & Disturbing Characters Bill Skarsgård Has Become A Favorite In The Horror Genre Close If Count Orlok terrified Bill Skarsgård, I can only imagine how dark and disturbing the character is, as some of his past horror roles have been pretty dark.
Taking all these characters into account, it’s surprising that Skarsgård found Count Orlok to be the most terrifying character he has played so far. However, that speaks volumes about Eggers’ approach to the story and character, which makes Nosferatu a lot more exciting, and knowing all the process Skarsgård went through to find Count Orlok further adds to the anticipation.
