Emma Raducanu gave an update on her fitness ahead of the AusOpen
Emma Raducanu has declared herself fit to play at the Australian Open after an ankle injury threatened her tournament.after rolling her ankle on January 5.The 20-year-old was forced to withdraw from the last 16 match with Viktoria Kuzmova in New Zealand, and later conductedSpeaking at a press conference, Raducana said: “In the match obviously you’re a bit worried when you go over on it and you don’t really know what’s going on.
“I started practising midweek and we’ve been building it up pretty gradually. But I think that I’ve not really played much tennis ever in my career so I’m kind of used to it. And I’m not stressed about the lack of tennis that much.
