'I’m being tested for coronavirus - which could kill me - while selfish people go to the pub' bowelbabe
I was scared, but I was in awe - once again - of the NHS and the way staff treated me and kept me feeling safe, in spite of this crisis.I just couldn't stop thanking staff as they performed all the tests - including a swab for Covid-19 - to see if I am safe to carry on treatment.It's a crisis, I get it. We are all trying to do the best by our families.
By ignoring the advice around social distancing you are inadvertently putting more pressure on the NHS. • People with some types of blood cancer which damage the immune system, even if they have not needed treatment . Those on the front line of the NHS are the ones seeing all this and they are they people we should be listening to.The hope is we can stop coronavirus from escalating to the point where we have no fighting chance.
