Former public protector advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane says she is a technocrat and not a politician hence she ditched the Economic Freedom Fighters .about her departure, Mkhwebane said she considers herself a technocrat more than being a politician.
“I’m a technocrat, I’m not a politician. So, possibly that’s one thing which you are expected to perform political work when I don’t have that. I only have my technocrat expertise, I mean being the former public protector for the past almost seven years, and there are other contributions which I would have made but unfortunately it’s operating in a political space. So, I don’t think it’s fair for people just to read a lot out of that,” she explained.
On 9 October, the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria dismissed her application to force the Office of the Public Protector to pay her R10 million gratuity. South African media personality and actress Minnie Dlamini is trending after gifting her mother a new car on her birthday.
