ITV I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here ditches Australia as old contestants return for special series
Ant and Dec today confirmed a break from the normal as former campmates return for the one off series. The show returns to Australia for a normal run this year having spent a couple of series filming in Wales.
But the showbiz pair confirmed that they will then head to South Africa for another series filled with fan favourites from the past two decades. They revealed the news in a post on the shared Twitter profile.
Ant was heard shouting: "Yay!" before joking: "Nobody told me!" to which Dec replied: "Really?" as Ant responded: "I'm joking! We're here aren't we?" Dec then explained: "Yes we're here! It's gonna be your favourite celebrities from the past 20 years who are going back in to do it one more time in South Africaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
Ant then asked him: "But are we going to Australia Declan?" to which he replied: "Yes we are, this year we are going back to Australia." Ant and Dec captioned the video: "South Africaaaaaaa! That's right, we're filming a very special version of I'm A Celebrity in South Africa which is coming to your tellies in 2023. #ImACeleb."
