Ian Alcock, 58, has been performing in his own Oasis tribute act, Definitely Mightbe, for the past 26 years - and feared the band's reunion would put him out of work
You might think that with the original Oasis band getting back together, the demand for Gallagher brothers tribute acts would decrease.
Ian Alcock has been the lead singer in his own tribute band, Definitely Mightbe, for the past 26 years. The 58-year-old fell in love with Oasis after attending a gig by the brothers in Stoke-on-Trent in 1994. Despite fearing that last month's big announcement would lead to a drop in bookings, it has had quite the opposite effect.
"We've got bookings for November next year so it's nice to be able to sit back knowing that we've got the work. January is usually a quiet time for bands but we're even busy then. We thought it might have the opposite effect. We thought we might be out of a job."
