A neighborhood in Pittsford is currently in a state of disbelief in the wake of a possible murder-suicide Tuesday night.
Police continue to search for answers after a man and woman were found dead at a home on Tobey Road, possibly the result of a horrific case of domestic violence. One neighbor we spoke to told us this incident serves as a poignant reminder that tragedy can unexpectedly touch any community, even one as quiet as Pittsford.
"One of the things that was screamed was 'You murdered my sister,'" recalled one neighbor. "I would say a little after 7, we saw a police car through the front window, and then another, and then another, and then another, and after maybe 10-15 minutes, you started to hear screaming. It was not just, “Oh my God, what happened?” I mean, someone was screaming like there was people dead.
