'When is it OK to give kids responsibility for tidying a zone such as a living room?'
laundry? My dd can do these slowly but I don't Want her to feel that I don't like mothering her by asking her to make her own breakfast etc. I don't want her to feel she is a burden.
I have a medical condition where I'm fatigued alot and often feel depressed as I take it day at a time. I'm worried my health and sometimes inability to be fully present will make her mature too quickly or feel that she's a burden. At the same time I do want to prepare her to independently do things and help at home. Sometimes the house chores and my demanding job get me down and I don't have alot of help from dh.
