Industry players have voiced concern over a possible conflict of interest with Rashdan Yusof’s appointment as he is a deputy managing director of Gamuda Bhd.
BUKIT MERTAJAM: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will look into the appointment of Rashdan Yusof as the Energy Commission chairman, following allegations of a conflict of interest.“If it is established, then I will make adjustments, as I have made with the chief of Keda,” he said, referring to former Baling MP Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim’s appointment as Kedah Regional Development Authority chairman, which has since been put on hold.
