I Know What Missing MCU Story Would Be Perfect For Agatha All Along Season 2

Agatha Harkness in the past and present of Agatha All Along

Marvel Studios may have just teased a second season of Agatha All Along, and I know the perfect story for the follow-up season in the MCU. Concluding on October 30, Agatha All Along has quickly become one of the MCU's most popular Disney+ shows, and one of my personal favorites, following on from the success of 2021's WandaVision.

&#x2715 Remove Ads Agatha All Along's premiere saw Agnes O'Connor investigate the Darkhold being stolen and destroyed in her true crime-style scenario, but we never saw the book itself. Agatha only saw the book while hallucinating from Alewife's Revenge in Agatha All Along episode 3, as the Darkhold appeared in a crib, suggesting that Agatha had exchanged her son's life for the book.

1 &#x2715 Remove Ads Given Agatha Harkness' tragic history with Death and her son, Nicholas Scratch, I assume that the Salem witch sought the Darkhold at some point to try and bring her son back to life. It makes sense that she would have kept the book in her possession even after realizing this wasn't possible, as the Darkhold's magic protected Agatha from harm, particularly harm delivered by Aubrey Plaza's Death.
