“She was a real loving baby and would always give you hugs,' Rosemary Allen said of her daughter, Journi Jones, who would have turned two next week. Allen said she will most miss her face, her hugs and her kisses. “I’ll miss everything,’’ she said.

Journi and another little girl, 3-month-old Jalaia Ford, both were taken to Children’s of Alabama where they were pronounced dead shortly before 6:30 p.m. Authorities initially provided two different ages for Jouni.There were five adults and five children in the 10th Avenue West house at the time, including three of Allen’s four children.
Allen was holding her cell phone and called 911. “I told them that we were trapped, and I couldn’t breathe,’’ she said. “One of the older kids took the phone because I didn’t know the address.”
