It was first rumored she had a new boyfriend in January, though Gino and Jasmine are presenting a somewhat united front on The Last Resort. In another recent update, claims Jasmine is expecting baby no. 3 with her beau, Matthew Branistareanu, who she met at the gym, and is living separately from Gino, despite remaining legally married. It's unclear if Jasmine’s new relationship is the result of an affair, or if it began after she was already with Gino. These two have been accusing each other of cheating for years, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Jasmine did step out. But honestly, I hope it’s the other way around. Gino hasn’t always been a good partner to Jasmine, but he doesn’t deserve what he’s currently going through. Here’s why. Gino Always Wanted a Baby with Jasmine Close Jasmine’s alleged pregnancy isn’t only surprising to me because of the timing, but also because of her stance on having kids. She already has two kids from past relationships who don’t live with her. While her ex-husband has custody of her oldest son, her younger child lives with his maternal grandmother. Jasmine’s plan was to bring her kids over to America, despite not having custody in Panama. But after Gino messed up the paperwork, a lawyer told the pair it could take years to bring her kids over, causing a lot of tension in their relationship. Posts At the same time, Gino was pressuring Jasmine to have a child of their own. With Gino in his 50s, and Jasmine in her late 30s, time is of the essence. But Jasmine was never committed to the idea. She understandably wanted to focus on bringing her two kids to the U.S. before having another child. Jasmine often told Gino she wanted to start a family when their relationship was stable or when she craved intimacy, but she would backtrack whenever things took a turn for the worse. However, Jasmine appears to have completely changed her mind with a new man. She’s apparently having a baby, even though her status in America is more uncertain than ever. If she’s pregnant and living with someone else, Gino will likely move forward with divorce. Since he’s her visa sponsor, this could put her legal status in jeopardy. Even more, it will further delay bringing her kids to the U.S., as Gino will likely no longer be their sponsor. She may be relying on her new man to take over, and having his baby certainly adds incentive. Jasmine’s Timing Couldn’t Be Worse Watching your ex move on is always rough, but for Gino, it’s got to be downright brutal. He spent years pushing for a baby, only for Jasmine to resist. And now she’s starting the family he wanted, but with someone else. The whole baby debate was a huge point of contention in their relationship. At times, it seemed Gino was pushing the matter aside just to keep Jasmine around. She was always content with the two kids she already had and wasn’t in a rush to have more. Whether or not there was cheating involved, the fact that Jasmine is pregnant so soon after their split has got to sting for Gino. It's not just bad timing – it’s a pretty low move for Jasmine. To make matters worse, Gino is still legally married to her and financially responsible for her due to her visa stipulations. Even if he wanted to fully cut ties, he’s stuck footing the bill for Jasmine’s American dream while she plays house with another man. Until they can get a divorce, that is. It’s for that reason that I hope Gino gets even with Jasmine somehow. Retaliatory cheating isn’t exactly a mature or effective response. But if Jasmine was unfaithful, it would be satisfying for him to know he had gotten his own little revenge. Judging by Gino’s recent social media antics, he seems to be enjoying the single life. Thanks to NDAs, we don’t officially know what’s going on between Gino and Jasmine. Fans will have to tune into the tell-all for an update, where if the rumors prove to be true, Jasmine’s baby bump may make its television debut.
