ESPN's College GameDay crew feels Ohio State will continue to meet expectations in 2022.
To former Ohio State quarterback and ESPN analyst, Notre Dame's defensive approach against the Buckeyes in Week 1 reminded him of how NFL defense forced quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs offense to be patient in the passing game.
"Ohio State knew that this was coming," Herbstreit said of Notre Dame's Cover 2 defense in which it played two safeties high and forced the Buckeyes to run the ball."They still have all their toys... Now they can run the football."
