Scotland's former first minister returns home after last week's arrest, telling reporters she is 'certain' she has done nothing wrong as police investigate the finances of the governing, pro-independence Scottish National Party.

Ms Sturgeon told reporters she intends to be back in parliament early next week for questions

The police are investigating what happened to more than 600,000 pounds in funding raised by Scottish independence campaigners in 2017 that was supposed to have been ring-fenced, but may have been used for other purposes. "I can't say very much, so what I will say is reiterate the statement issued last Sunday. I am certain that I have done nothing wrong," she said.

Asked by journalists if "Nicola Sturgeon [would] have suspended Nicola Sturgeon?" the 52-year-old repeated she had "done nothing wrong".
