The Hanni Water Balm Spray-On Moisturizer is a mistable body moisturizer that replaces traditional body creams. The formula contains hyaluronic acid and glycerin, which deeply hydrate and leave skin glowing in seconds, without greasiness.
I’d hardly consider myself a lazy person — especially not in the skincare domain. That said, I do pay considerably less attention to the skin below my chin than I do the skin on my face, mostly because I’m averse to the occlusive feel and greasy application experience that body lotion often entails. It wasn’t until I discovered hands-free,uses, into my routine — and it’s the best I’ve tried, both from an experiential and efficacy standpoint.
Another key difference between Hanni’s spray-on formula and a regular cream, of course, is its application method. Instead of using your hands to dip into a jar of cream-based formula — which, IMO, is uncomfortably greasy on the palms — Hanni’s mist-based moisturizer presents a hands-free option for hydrating dry body skin.
To use, I spray a few pumps of the product directly onto damp skin post-shower or bath, pat myself dry with a towel as per usual, and slip into clothes moments later — without any worry of staining my silk skirts or other delicate items with residue, as I have with rich, cream-based lotions. If, throughout the day, my skin becomes dry, or I’m simply craving a re-up on glistening hydration, I spray the mist directly onto dry skin for another dose of quenching, skin-smoothing satisfaction.
Despite its lightweight nature, the Hanni body mist is, nevertheless, incredibly hydrating — just as hydrating as most traditional body creams, in fact. Key ingredients includeI’d be remiss not to mention the body mist’s scent — a blend of pink pepper and palmarosa notes — which, together, exude an air of expensiveness, and could very well replace perfume in a pinch.
