It seemed like Christianity was written by and catered to the 'normal' crowd.
My family has always been fairly laid back about religion—perhaps what I would call 'casually Christian.' Up until I was twelve years old, we went to church every Sunday but rarely discussed religion otherwise.Because my experience with Christianity has always been fairly positive, it's been eye-opening to reflect upon the path that I took that led me away from my faith.
If on the inside I had so many doubts, I wasn't a true believer anyway, instead just following the crowd because it was what I had always done. How was I to know then, that I was following the 'correct' faith?Was I lucky to have been born a Christian? That was what I had been told by my parents and my church, but I realized that every religion tells their followers that they are lucky to be part of the 'correct' religion.
