It was a rainy day when we headed to the café for the first time and it did not disappoint
When it comes to places to go for brunch on Lark Lane you're spoilt for choice. From full-English breakfasts to American pancakes, middle-eastern inspired dishes and Italian pastries, there's something to suit everyone's tastes. It was a rainy day when we decided to head to a café we'd never tried before, tucked just off Lark Lane itself on Little Parkfield Road. The Third Café caught my eye when we braved the queue for Lunko - a popular bakery next door.
I went for the veggie breakfast, which included halloumi, avocado, a fried egg, spinach, tomato, mushrooms and beans with sour dough toast. My boyfriend opted for the vegan breakfast which saw the halloumi swapped for falafel and hummus instead of an egg. The portions were generous with plenty of beans and toast. It's easy to go for breakfast and feel that you could have made something better yourself at home, but this was far from the case. Everything was well cooked and tasted delicious.
