'I don’t like that breed of manager, I think he’s divisive and I think he has no respect for those that he works for.' Simon Jordan warns West Ham against appointing Rafa Benitez WHUFC

But Jordan has warned the Hammers against appointing the ‘divisive’ Spaniard.

“I don’t like Rafa Benitez – not personally, I don’t like him professionally,” Jordan exclusively told talkSPORT. “There’s no personal dislike there as I haven’t spent any significant amount of time with him to develop but I’m sure if I did spend some time with him I’d probably develop it.“From a professional standpoint I don’t like the way he operates. I don’t like that breed of manager, I think he’s divisive and I think he has no respect for those that he works for.

“I just don’t particularly like that style of management which divides rather than unites and ultimately I think that Rafa Benitez is in the business of Rafa Benitez and whilst we all are in that business, there has to be a balance at times between what you do for yourself and what you do for others.”Meanwhile, talkSPORT understands Moyes will be in charge for West Ham’s crunch relegation clash with Everton this weekend.

On Monday, bookmakers suspended bets on Benitez’s move to West Ham but it appears that no upheaval will occur before the weekend’s fixture.
