It didn't take long before psoriasis took control of my body and negativity took control of my mind—until I followed my dream.
I've been waiting so long for my life to fall into place, to find true happiness. And now I have it—I won't let it go.But silly me for thinking I had to look elsewhere to find it. Of course, it was within me all along.I've had a great life, and not all of it was marked by tears and sorrow. I have known happiness before, so why would it be hard to find it in me once again?I have experienced so much in this harsh world, it's hard to know where to begin my story.
I remember being in floods of tears in that very moment as I realized who I was going to become.I saw art in the images. I saw beauty. I saw the 'weird and wonderful'—and it was me.It couldn't have been clearer in my mind from that moment. I knew my path in this life. My dad had left me with a gift. That's when I knew he was guiding me.My different skin became my passion. I knew I had to share my pictures if I was going to stop others suffering the same.
