I have to admit, Marvel got me with the latest swerve in the dystopian Spider-Man series, Spider-Man: Reign 2, with the revelation that the estranged father of Felicia Hardy's daughter and replacement as Black Cat, Kitty-Kat, is actually Miles Morales. While I was shocked by this reinvention of the characters' familiar dynamics, I'm also very excited to find out where the book's creative team takes this unexpected family unit.
