Non-essential shops are opening up again from tomorrow, and I’m nervous. I’m nervous not because I think my chances of contracting the virus might increase, but because my chances of spending money I don’t really have might. I have learnt lots of things during lockdown, but my main takeaway is this: I don’t half fritter away money on rubbish I don’t really need.
