LATEST: A shelter-in-place order has been lifted after a crash spilled nitric acid on I-10 south of Tucson.

The shelter-in-place order has been lifted according to the Department of Public Safety. Residents within one-half of a mile were asked to evacuate Tuesday after the crash.Tucson Fire, Pima County Office of Emergency Management, Arizona DPS and the Department of Public Safety's Hazardous Materials Response Unit are working on the response.
