The fires have involved trailer-hitch wiring.

In documents posted Tuesday by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the companies said debris and moisture can accumulate in a circuit board in the tow hitch wiring. That can cause an electrical short, which can lead to a fire.

Hyundai said that dealers will inspect the wiring and remove a fuse as an interim repair. Kia doesn’t have an interim repair. The companies say a final repair is being developed. In addition, dealers from both automakers have stopped selling the affected SUVs until repairs are made. Subaru’s main rivals Mitsubishi would lay on a full Ralliart Works specification Evo 6. 5 for Taguchi in hope of victory. Possum, a 3 Time Asia Pacific Rally Champion and 6 Time Australian Championship would need to rely on all his experience after a heavy rainfall left 20% of the competition out of the running after only two stages. However Bourne would win the first two stages and by the end of leg one would see his advantage stretched to 17 seconds over Taguchi, but it wouldn't come without any incidents! Now running with a loss of performance after an excursion into the foliage, leg two would see four stages repeated twice. Bourne would take control again winning three of the morning's four stages to extend his lead to 41 seconds, however the afternoon loop of stages would not be as e
