The trailer has been released for the new show Hysteria!. Hysteria! is an upcoming horror comedy show featuring horror genre legend Bruce Campbell. Campbell is known for playing the lead character in The Evil Dead, which had its first chapter release in 1981. As for Hysteria!, the horror thriller tells the story of high school outcasts who take advantage of their town's sudden interest in the occult in order to start a Satanic metal band.
What This Trailer Says About Hysteria! Hysteria Has Religious Undertones The Hysteria! trailer shows that the upcoming horror-comedy will take on the intersection between horror and religion. The very beginning of the trailer opens with Jesus on a crucifix, hinting at the religious tie-ins from the get-go. Then, the same religiously-oriented people have their fears swirled up again as they fear that the town's teenagers are turning into a cult.

Their marketing is also replete with amusingly exaggerated Satanic themes, including the phrase"witness pure evil," which Campbell's character scoffs at.
