which is on show at The Store X, 180 The Strand in London, proves just this, with a selection of images exploring beauty and violence - rose petals are decayed and dramatised while blacked out mirrors are eerily scratched with 'Fuck' – making a concious step away from Vanderperre's renowned fashion focused imagery. Instead, the pioneering images call into question our historical perceptions of idealised beauty and mortality, vanity and violence.
