AccuWeather hurricane experts are tracking two different hurricanes, one churning in the Atlantic and the other a dangerous threat to land in the East Pacific.

Click for more.AccuWeather hurricane experts are watching two system in the Atlantic Ocean, both of which are forecast to impact land this week.The storm has traveled more than 1,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean over the past week, and it will continue to snake its way toward Bermuda heading into the weekend.
Residents of Le Raizet, Guadeloupe, where the main airport on the island presides, reported rainfall totals of 9.39 inches from Friday to early Monday as Tammy churned over the region. Tammy is predicted to maintain hurricane strength through at least midweek and can lose wind intensity throughout the day on Thursday as it encounters, or disruptive winds in the atmosphere that can affect tropical cyclone organization. Later this week into this weekend, forecasters say that impacts from Tammy may be felt across the islands of Bermuda.
Otis is likely to undergo additional rapid strengthening, with the hurricane to reach at least Category 3 intensity on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale before landfall along the Mexican coastline on Wednesday. There is a chance that Otis will reach Category 4 force with maximum sustained winds of 130 mph over open waters prior to landfall. AccuWeather has placed a StormMax™ wind gust of 140 mph for Otis.
