Helene strengthened to a Category 1 hurricane earlier on Wednesday and is expected to strengthen more through Thursday, when it could make landfall in Florida's Big Bend region.
The U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port has set Port Condition “Yahnkee” for Port Canaveral. Its website explained what that means. It currently does not show any delays on arrivals on Sept. 28, but the situation remains fluid depending upon the weather.
