Eclipse safety has long been a top priority for Huron County Emergency Management Agency director Art Mead. Now, it’s finally here.
NORWALK, Ohio - Thanks to the Emergency Operations Center at Huron County EMA office, his team can be prepared for anything.
“So if we happen to have a train blocking traffic,” Mead explained, “Or an accident or a large fire—any kind of incident like that—we’ll be able to disseminate that information to all our first responders.” “We’re dealing with more issues and less people to help with those issues. We don’t have the resources many of the big counties have,” Mead said.
