He added that officials noticed on December 9 that the tank storage was decreasing "significantly faster than we could fill it," getting to 10% capacity on Thursday and 6% Friday. "We may only have 10 hours of water if we don't find the major leak soon, and we don't conserve the water we have," Sorenson wrote.Contactors have been authorized to search for the leak, which "has limitations" due to frozen ground and snow-covered areas.
Weber County and Eden have been asked for assistance, and Sorenson said Eden Water offered to set up a water filling station in Eden.
