Can you smell the popcorn? 1977 New York has taken over Highland Park in Los Angeles in celebration of Amazon Prime Video’s new highly anticipated series Hunters, starring Al Pacino, Logan Lerman and executive produced by Jordan Peele.
We teamed up last night to throw an epic screening and killer afterparty, complete with DJ sets from A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs of Fool’s Gold fame.
So what exactly went down?It all began by stepping into the transformed Highland Theatre as it became “The Empire,” Prime Video’s own grindhouse that’s an authentic throwback to the gritty cinemas of New York’s 42nd Street.
