An overdue hunter was found with minor injuries after an approximately 12-hour search in northern Utah.
The 55-year-old man had become separated from the rest of his hunting party on Friday in Coldwater Canyon.
Search and rescue teams in Box Elder County said they were called at approximately 9 p.m. after his party was unable to find him.During the night, a Life Flight helicopter responded to help provide light. At approximately 9 a.m. on Saturday, other hunters in the area reported hearing someone call out for help.
The missing hunter was found off the trail with minor injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
