Former Assistant FBI Director Chris Swecker said news of a Hunter Biden legal team member reportedly pretending to be a Republican attorney while placing a call on Tuesday to ask that IRS whistleblower testimony be stricken from the docket would be a “clear case for disbarment.”
The call was placed the night before President Joe Biden’s son is expected to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax offenses and then enter a pretrial diversion program in order to avoid prison time on a felony gun charge.“It’s starting to read like a Grisham novel, isn’t it? Apparently, his attorneys have about the same ethics standards as he does,” Swecker told Jesse Watters Primetime. "I think this is a clear case for disbarment of the attorney.
“The Hunter team obviously feared what was going to go in front of the judge in terms of the whistle-blower information to the point where they were willing to do what they did,” he added. “So, that means that they believe [the judge] would take it into consideration. “We’re now to the point where I think it’s a mountain of evidence against not just Hunter but Joe as well,” Swecker said.Swecker noted that when he led criminal investigations with the FBI, indictments were routinely made with a lot less evidence than what the House Oversight Committee has presented:
“There should have already been a parade of witnesses going into the grand jury and a line around the corner.”
