Hunter Biden denuncia al Servicio Interno de Impuestos por divulgar su información fiscal

El hijo del presidente estadounidense, Hunter Biden, demandó este lunes al Servicio Interno de Impuestos (IRS, en inglés) por haber revelado ilegalmente la información de su declaración de impuestos, que se obtuvo fruto de la investigación que hay en su contra.

Biden presentó este lunes la denuncia ante una corte del Distrito de Columbia, en la que alega que varios de funcionarios divulgaron ilegalmente su información fiscal y en la que se queja de que la agencia no protegió sus registros privados.

El Departamento de Justicia indicó en un comunicado que, en caso de ser condenado por los tres cargos, Hunter Biden puede recibir un máximo de 25 años de cárcel. Las pesquisas contra Hunter Biden se abrieron en 2018 durante el mandato de Trump y los conservadores se han apoyado en ellas para atacar al presidente demócrata, al que acusan de no haber hecho ningún esfuerzo para llevar esta indagación hasta el final.
