The windscreen was cracked
A rock was thrown at a car on A45 in Northamptonshire, cracking its windscreen, police have reported. The incident happened between 12.20pm and 12.34pm on Thursday, April 13.
The victim was driving on the A45 and passed beneath the footbridge near the Earls Barton slip road. Three unknown males were seen on the footbridge and one of them is believed to have thrown a small rock at the car, a Honda SRV. No one was injured in the incident. The suspects are described as three white males aged in their late-teens who were wearing grey clothing, according to the force.A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: "Anyone with information about the incident, including any relevant dash-cam footage, is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Incident number: 23000222136."
The appeal was shared on their social media channels in order to spread the message. One person said: "Someone mentioned 2 kids on a bridge throwing rocks at cars on the next door app" Another said "what an idiotic thing to do" while one person added "this happened a few years ...poor lorry driver died at the scene...what's wrong with people"READ NEXT:
