Dressed in high-visibility clothing and using a motorcycle helmet to hide his identity, the man can be seen fumbling around with the weapon, attempting to break a glass cabinet, but ultimately failing.The video then shows the man again attempting to shatter the cabinet but to no avail. He then pulls what appears to be a gun from his pocket, waving the firearm around while seemingly making more demands.
As his backpack dangles from one arm, the man then attempts to conceal the gun but again fumbles as he attempts to return it to his pocket.Police say they are hunting for a man roughly 180cm tall and of solid build.CCTV footage has captured the man - armed with what appears to be a machete or butcher's cleaver - storming the Mayfield store before making demands to a female staffer.
