Two people were found with gunshot wounds near Claremont Road
A major hunt is continuing to find a gunman after two people were left injured in a horror double shooting in Moss Side on Saturday night .
The news of the shooting and the sight of detectives knocking on doors came as a shock to a number of residents who said the area was 'quiet' at the time, unlike the usual busyness of the area during the post-Carnival street party. Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made so far in connection with the shootings and enquiries are ongoing. Witnesses are being urged to come forward.
