BUDAPEST, Hungría (AP) — Hungría votará en contra de una resolución de Naciones Unidas que recuerda el genocidio de musulmanes bosnios en Srebrenica en 1995, declaró el miércoles el ministro de Exteriores, argumentando que esto inflamaría las tensiones en el país balcánico y la región circundante.

La resolución de la ONU es apoyada por políticos bosnios en Bosnia y por países europeos y Estados Unidos. Propuesta por Alemania y Ruanda, designaría el 11 de julio como el “Día Internacional de Reflexión y Conmemoración del Genocidio de 1995 en Srebrenica”. Los serbios de Bosnia y la vecina Serbia se oponen porque argumenta que la resolución etiquetaría a los serbios como una “nación genocida”. Los serbios cuentan con el apoyo de Rusia y China.
