Michelle Mann Nearly 500 volunteers of all ages from 69 groups turned out to “make a difference” during the recent 7th Annual OSCAR Club Day of Service in Enterprise.
Breakfast for the crowds at the kickoff was provided by McDonalds and served by the Enterprise Lions Club. The OSCAR Club is comprised of women who have been selected Enterprise Women of the Year during the Enterprise Pilot Club’s annual Civic Night over the years. The Day of Service was initiated by the club as a means to demonstrate the positive impact that volunteer service, no matter how large or small, has communitywide, Charlene Goolsby said.
