Queensland's Transport Minster Mark Bailey has apologised after hundreds of motorists had their licences incorrectly suspended. The blunder is related to camera systems wrongly issuing double demerit points. Around 626 drivers had their licence wrongly suspended, while 868 others were handed good behaviour bonds when they shouldn't have. Mr Bailey said the affected drivers could be entitled to compensation. 'This should never have happened. I am very sorry to every person who has been impacted by this,' he said while addressing the media. 'This is our mistake and we will do everything we can to work with impacted people.'
