Hundreds of people made the trip with their little ones to enjoy the free food, the fun, and of course, the Easter eggs.
) - On a beautiful Good Friday morning, there was only one way to start off the easter weekend for the city of Robertsdale. And that’s with the annual Easter egg hunt at Garrett Park.
“They’re going to have a blast. I have a three year old and a five year old and they’re super excited. Of course the reason for all of this going into the weekend is the resurrection of our King. So, it’s a great opportunity for the community,” PJ Petrey with 3Circle Church said.And it wasn’t just about the eggs. The fire department served free hotdogs and there was also ice cream.
“It’s a nice day. It’s beautiful out. We’re coming out here to see the easter bunny, and to let the babies do the egg hunt,” Cheveus Ard said. “We’re out of Robertsdale. We’ve been here 20 years. We came from California. We love it. Thank you guys for doing this for us today. We really appreciate it,” Tina Wilson said.
“It’s great. The weather is great. A lot of people are out. It looks like hundreds and hundreds of people. I might try to find some eggs too,” Marshall Davis said.“It’s really, really fun,” Trevor Wilson said.MCSO identifies victim found shot to death near Chieftain Way
