Vigils have been held across the UK for the trans teen
Hundreds of mourners gathered in Edinburgh to told a vigil in memory of Brianna Ghey. Residents took to the city centre on Friday afternoon in the wake of the 16-year-old's death.
One of the many locations included the Scottish capital, with Edinburgh Live reporting more than 100 people at Bristo Square to reflect and stand in solidarity. Images and footage taken from the scene show a huge crowd having gathered to pay their respects and support trans rights. Several left flowers and held up signs in support of trans people during the moving ceremony.
