) - We saw a very pleasant morning this morning with the coolest weather we’ve seen so far in the late summer season. Mobile started out with a morning low of 62 degrees. Some locations like Evergreen Alabama were at 59 degrees this morning.
Humidity is increasing, so our overnight lows will not be as comfortable tonight. Most places will see overnight lows in the upper 60s north of Interstate 10. We expect to see overnight lows in the low 70s near the coast. We have a few isolated showers that are possible overnight tonight and into tomorrow, especially on the immediate coast. Rain chances will remain low though as we go into the extended forecast. The nights stay in the upper 60s through the middle of the week followed by some slightly drier air helping things out later in the week. Our lows will be in the mid-60s by the weekend. Daytime highs will stay in the low 90s, but we will see low humidity. Tropical storm formation is not expected over the next seven days.
