Browning brings extensive experience to his new role, with a 38-year career in banking and a 32-year history of non-profit board leadership.
SUMMIT-COUNTY, Ohio -- The Humane Society of Summit County Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Nick Browning as its new President and CEO, effective July 8. Browning will succeed Diane Johnson-Owens, who retired in January 2024.
“The board is confident that Nick is the right leader at this historic time for the HSSC,” said Diane Treier, board chair, in a press release. “We are confident that he and our HSSC leadership team will continue to advance our mission of advocating and caring for all the vulnerable animals throughout Summit County.”
