A human smuggling operation was cut short as local law enforcement received community complaints regarding recent activity.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, a human smuggling operation was uncovered near the 1400 block of W Southcross following community complaints. Deputies then later called for individuals to come out and successfully extracted three suspects. A total of eight individuals were considered victims of the operation as old as 52 years of age and the youngest being a two-year-old.
