Human Resources Ministry ready to restructure TVET

“We see there are currently 12 ministries involved with TVET and it is co-ordinated by national TVET council, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. “We are willing to consider it, if anyone wants to give it to us,” Human Resources Minister V. Sivakumar said in Kuala Lumpur today, following Zahid’s statement on the proposal to move the National Youth Skills Institute to the Human Resource Ministry.Meanwhile, Sivakumar called on industries to prepare for changes from a health and safety perspective.
