Lincoln police officers said it appears the remains had been in a creek near Blue Eye Springs Road for an extended period of time.
An investigation is underway after human remains were discovered in Talladega County.
Lincoln police officers responded at 9:55 a.m. Monday to a report of the possible human remains in a creek near Blue Eye Springs Road, said Investigator Demarco Willis. Willis said it appears the remains had been there an extended period of time.
