The Opelika Police Department is investigating after they found human remains . According to police, they responded to the 2600 block of Northpark Drive on Saturday after an individual reported they located human skeletal remains in a wooded area. Opelika investigators and Montgomery Police K9 actively searched the area today. Officials say the remains will be sent to the medical examiner’s office.
