Some children fishing in a Dauphin County park found human remains on Thursday, police said.
The bones were found in a heavily-wooded area of Reservoir Park in Highspire, according to police. The remains were taken to the Dauphin County Coroner’s Office and confirmed to be human. The remains have not been identified as of Friday, police said. The coroner’s office was not immediately available to provide additional information.
Citizen’s Fire Co. of Highspire provided lighting and assisted with clearing brush so investigators could get to the remains on Thursday, police said.
